About the Course

The GGCE course provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the intersection of environmental sustainability and economic prosperity. It focuses on decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation by emphasizing renewable energy, waste reduction, and sustainable resource management. Participants explore how circularity designing out waste and keeping products in use can drive innovation and resilience within the Kenyan and global context.

To build the capacity of policy makers and practitioners to design, implement, and evaluate strategies that promote low-carbon development and circular business models, ensuring long-term ecological balance and inclusive economic growth.
