About the Course

The Management of Child Protection Services program is designed to build the capacity of practitioners to effectively plan, manage, and support child protection programs. The course introduces key management skills that help participants improve how child protection services are delivered. It focuses on practical areas such as planning, budgeting, costing, and coordinating programs that support vulnerable children. Participants will learn how to prioritize resources, apply costing models, and assess the effectiveness of child protection interventions. The program also highlights the importance of advocacy and resource mobilization to ensure sustained investment in child protection systems. Through practical sessions and real-life examples, participants will gain the confidence to manage programs more effectively and improve outcomes for children.

Aim of the Course

To strengthen the capacity of participants to plan, manage, and advocate for effective and well-resourced child protection services.

Children Officers, Directorate of Children Services (DCS) staff, National Council for Children Services (NCCS) staff, Planning officers in Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Counties (MDACs), Finance, accounting, procurement, and human resource officers, Administrators in public institutions, Non-state actors involved in child protection services.
