About the Course

The TLCW program is a high-level intervention that moves beyond traditional management training to focus on the "transformative" aspect of leadership. It emphasizes self-awareness, strategic influence, and the dismantling of structural barriers within county governance. The program provides a structured space for reflection, peer learning, and the development of ethical leadership frameworks necessary for effective service delivery in a devolved system.

Aim of the Course

To equip women executives in county governments with the strategic competencies, ethical foundations, and transformative mindset required to lead institutional change, promote gender-responsive governance, and deliver impactful services to citizens.

Target Audience

The program is specifically tailored for high-ranking women in county governments, including: County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) Chief Officers Directors and Deputy Directors in County Governments Senior advisors and decision-makers within the county executive arm

Learning Outcomes

  • Enhanced Self-Leadership: Developed deep self-awareness and emotional intelligence using tools like psychometric assessments to identify personal leadership styles and growth areas
