About the Course

The PPCM program provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the entire procurement cycle—from planning and sourcing to contract administration and closure. It emphasizes the legal and regulatory frameworks governing public funds in Kenya, focusing on ethical conduct and the mitigation of risks such as fraud and litigation.

Aim of the Course

The primary aim of the program is to equip public service officers with the essential competencies and legal knowledge required to execute procurement processes and manage contracts effectively, ensuring the prudent use of public resources and strict adherence to statutory requirements

This program is tailored for officers involved in the supply chain process or those with oversight responsibilities, including: Supply Chain Management Officers and Procurement Professionals. Heads of Departments and Section Heads responsible for budget lines. Members of Tender Committees (Evaluation, Inspection, and Acceptance committees). Project Managers and Technical Officers overseeing contract execution. Internal Auditors and Finance Officers
